The training was facilitated by SIWIBA and delivered by the Solomon Islands Small Business Enterprises (SISBEC) Trainer. The training offered was Start Your Own Business (SYOB), a training SIWIBA normally offered to kick start trainings for its members. This particular training covers a wide range of topics eg basic booking, sales and marketing, pricing and others. It went on from Tuesday 20 to Thursday 22 November 2018. A total of thirty nine (39) members attended.
SIWIBA successfully completed three day SYOB (Start Your Own Business) training for its affiliated group, CIPWIB in the central Islands Province, last week. The training was facilitated by SIWIBA and the Trainer from SISBEC (Solomon Islands Small Business Enterprises) from Wednesday 14th to Friday 16th November 2018.
SIWIBA successfully completed a four day catering training from 24-27th September 2018 at the YWCA Conference room. The training was conducted by Kolei Catering Services and a total of 30 members attended.
SIWIBA supported three of our members to be recruited for APTC training in Fiji and Samoa for first six months of this year. Unfortunately, the one studying in Samoa was unable to complete her studies due to being sick being pregnant and has to return home. However, APTC has given her the opportunity to complete her studies in 2019.
