SIWIBA Organize Successful Retreat
This was organized purposely for SIWIBA Board and Secretariat to discuss their Strategic Plan and Work Plan for Year 2 in their funding budget.
Mrs. Louisa Fakaia facilitated the successful retreat for eight members of the Board and five members of the Secretariat which started Friday evening and closed Saturday night with a combined dinner.
Topics covered include analyzing SIWIBA, reviewing and amending the Association’s current long term Strategic Plan and group discussion on monitoring and evaluation approach for SIWIBA programs and activities.
The retreat was a breakthrough for both parties who planned all upcoming activities within SIWIBA.
Discussions at the workshop have enabled the team to draw out ideas and actions needed to bring all plans forward for the next two years - 2016 and 2017.
The results also highlighted constraints within SIWIBA and how to address the issues effectively.
With the ongoing programs and activities yet to be achieved, the SIWIBA team identified its priorities.
SIWIBA can assure its members that all SIWIBA’s commitments and plans can be achieved.
