SIWIBA Mini Trade Fair

SIWIBA with the support of SIG hosted a one week mini trade fair for women.

The event which took place at the national art gallery gathers women across sectors of the economy, was funded by the Ministry of commerce industries Labour and Immigration.

The event accommodate promotion and sales activities as well as entertainments to the public.

Participation individuals provides products and services on food, garments, Arts & crafts, horticulture, media, medical services and more.

Speaking during the opening SIWIBA chair Mrs. Pamela Zoleveke acknowledge the ministry of commerce through their marketing and promotion department for recognizing the establishment and progress of the trade fair.

Guest speaker undersecretary to the ministry of commerce stressed that it’s a privilege and honor for his ministry to support women in business and encourage women to involve more in economic activities through the business as it’s a way forward for Solomon Islands.

Among the guests were the Australian High commissioner , first secretary to the Australian high commissioner, PS of Agriculture and the PS to the ministry of women you and family affair.

The event will follow up towards marking SIWIBA‘s first women in business awards.

SIWIBA continues to acknowledge all supporters and members, nonmembers for their effort in participating throughout the program.
