PNG High Commisoner H.E Fred Yakasa hands over Gold Sponsership to SIWIBA President, her Vice and SIWBA Coordinator

The Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA) has received financial support from the PNG High Commission (Chancery) in Solomon Islands towards the upcoming SIWIBA Women in Business Awards 2016 that will take place in July.

Official handover of the financial support took place yesterday at the PNG High Commission (Chancery) in Honiara. Also present was the SIWIBA President, Dalcy Tekulu and SIWIBA Coordinator, Nina Tuhaika.

An official opening program took place Wednesday 10th February 2016 at the High Court Grounds, which launched SIWIBA’s Mere’s Market event for this year.

Guests at the official opening included DFAT officials, the acting PNG High Commissioner, Home Finance Manager, National Fisheries Development, the ANZ Bank and the Guest of Honour, Madam Emmy Sogavare.
