Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA) bi-monthly Mere’s Market commences on the 29th to 31st August at the National Art Gallery.

This initiative strives to empower SIWIBA women and the event will take place for 3 days.

The Mere’s Market will involve competitions, promotions, selling of products and awareness programs.

SIWIBA joins Digicel PNG Women in Business expo closing

The Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA) have successfully closed off the PNG Digicel Women in Business Expo in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea alongside organisers of the event and sisters from other business organisations around Papua New Guinea.

SIWIBA President and team leader, Dalcy Tekulu in her remarks at the closing ceremony  on Thursday acknowledged the PNG Women in Business President, Janet Sape for recognising SIWIBA enough to participate in the first ever expo to be hosted in Port Moresby.

SIWIBA gets into Business at Digicel PNG Women in Business Expo

The team of 8 Solomon Islands Women in Business bound to PNG to participate with PNG Women in Business Expo at Port Moresby.

In a feedback statement to the SIWIBA secretariat from PNG, SIWIBA President as well the team leader, Mrs. Dalcy Tekulu said “SIWIBA gained the publicity of our products, results has shown that our sales is going on well in the PNG market” Mrs. Tekulu adds “The involvement of SIWIBA in Expo trading, Business networking and the association’s awareness has gained SIWIBA its place among other relative Women in Business Association in the pacific.”

SIWIBA Left for PNG Business Women Expo

Solomon Islands Women in Business Association Team of 8 left for PNG  yesterday to embark on a mile stone accomplishment for trade and business network for women in business in Solomon Islands.

The team who has collaborative support from major Government Ministries, Commercial and Donor organization accompanied a huge bulk of local made products and artifacts, owned by fellow members of the association.

This was the first of its kind to involve members and bulk of products to participate in trade offshore Solomon Islands and SIWIBA hopes to achieve an excellent outcome.

SIWIBA Receives Assistance from Australian Government for PNG Women in Business Expo in PNG

The Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA) receives assistance from the Australian Government through its Australian Aid (DFAT) to participate at the PNG Digicel Women in Business Expo in Port Moresby this month, July.

SIWIBA Intermediate Book Keeping Training

The Solomon Islands Women in Business Association last week focused on the discipline in a two days training, last week Thursday and Friday at the SIWIBA Business Development Center, NPF Plaza.

SIWIBA Apologise for Postponing Mere’s Market

The Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA) wishes to inform its members on the cancellation of the SIWIBA Mere’s Market that was to take place this week (17th – 19th June 2015).

The decision to postpone the event was directed from government authorities for security reasons during the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) meeting that will take place in Honiara this month.
